Men’s Small Groups
Our small groups are meant to be a place to be cared for and to care for others. These groups focus on studying the gospel, conversation, and prayer. Our hope is that grace and truth will root deeply into our hearts and minds so that we can better walk in the freedom we have in Christ. Groups meet at a variety of times and places. Take a look at the group descriptions below and indicate which ones you may be interested in through the sign-up form.
Group descriptions
Thursday Morning Men's Small Group
Facilitators: Nathan Holder & Joe Spiccia
When: Every Thursday at 7:00 AM
Where: Marietta Perks
Description: Our group is made up of a range of ages and aims to foster an environment of vulnerability and grace. We share the highs and lows of our lives with each other along with topical discussions based on weekly readings. Join us every Thursday morning for coffee, community, and authentic conversation.
Young Married Men's Small Group
Facilitators: Brian Sims & Matt Donald
When: Day and time TBD based on group availability
Description: This group is specifically designed for men in their 20's or 30's who have been married less than 10 years. Our goal is to get to know each other authentically while learning how to navigate the joys and challenges of marriage from a biblical perspective. We'll determine our meeting schedule based on what works best for the group.
Wednesday Morning Men's Small Group
Facilitators: Bill Hassell & Mason Mahaney
When: Every Wednesday at 7:00 AM (Starting September 10th)
Where: Redeemer Church
Description: Our group is made up of men of a variety of ages. We will be studying the Bible and sharing each other's burdens. If you're looking for a consistent weekly study with solid biblical teaching and authentic fellowship, join us Wednesday mornings at the church.
Tuesday Morning Men's Small Group
Facilitators: Bryan Robinson & Matt Armstrong
When: Every other Tuesday at 7:15 AM
Where: Church
Description: We will be studying the first few chapters of Ephesians, discussing what freedom in Christ means in daily life, whether God speaks to you on a regular basis, and other topics that come up in the group. This is a great opportunity for men who want to dig deeper into Scripture in the early morning hours.
Wednesday Evening Men's Small Group
Facilitators: Michael McClung
When: Every other Wednesday, 7:00-8:30 PM
Where: facilitator’s home
Description: At this Bible study we split our time between some hang out guy time and discussion-style Bible study. This fall we are beginning to work through the book of Genesis. It's a perfect blend of fellowship and meaningful study for men who want both community and biblical depth.
20s-30s Men's Small Group
Facilitators: Hails Seawell and Michael Boynton
When: Wednesdays at 6:30 AM
Where: ???
Description: This group is for those navigating the challenges of starting or growing a family and building their careers. Together, we'll explore God's Word, encourage one another, and pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus in the midst of life's busyness. This group is a place to grow in faith, develop and strengthen friendships, and be equipped to lead with Christ at the center of our homes and work.
