REDEEMER’S NEXT STEPS

Our heart is the same as always, and our desire is to shepherd growth along the way. Our prayer is to be a healthy church whatever size the Lord has intended for us. At peak times Redeemer is at capacity in the sanctuary (260 seats), overflowing into the student chapel, and without adequate space for small groups to meet. Therefore, we acquired additional square footage to the right of the sanctuary aiming to build future sanctuary space, small group rooms, event space, and a hallway that connects Redeemer to the back parking lot.


 REDEEMER PROPERTY WITH NEW PURCHASE

On May 1, 2023, Redeemer purchased the suites adjacent to the right sanctuary wall: suite 830 (3,562 sq ft) and suite 510 (1,815 sq ft) for $750,000 (fair market value).

We secured ownership of this property with a down payment of $112,500 and borrowed $637,500. This is the only debt Redeemer has, as we fully own our main building. It is our hope to raise funds for renovations and to retire the debt, allowing us to return to debt free, so every dollar given in the future is given directly to ministry.

Our new space is another step in God’s unfolding story or grace, mercy, and faithfulness to us. Upon completion (most likely a multi-year project), the building will be able to accommodate additional growth in the sanctuary, space for small groups and student groups, a completed children’s ministry area for the next generation of Jesus followers, a fellowship event space for meals and gatherings, and an outdoor space for our kids to play and adults to gather.
