Community Care Ministry

Christ working through imperfect people to meet practical needs.

As our congregation grows, we are finding more opportunities to minister to each other and to the Marietta community. Redeemer’s Community Care Ministry provides opportunities for us to actively and practically love and serve one another, both inside and outside the church’s walls.

Currently, Redeemer Community Care is focusing on three areas:

1) The Table on Delk, a local ministry that provides meals and other services to women and children who are at risk of being trafficked or exploited. Family and individual volunteer opportunities include making placemats and decorating lunch bags, cleaning up after meals, bible studies, and much more.

2) Outreach to the elderly and infirm. As God has equipped many of us with capabilities in home renovation and repair, we have been led to help lonely, elderly community members in need of ministry and home services. For example, we are presently assisting someone with much-needed home repairs.

3) Ongoing requests for assistance through our website. As feasible, and with discernment and wisdom, we respond to the needs of those who email asking for help via the Redeemer Community Care page. If you have a need—from marital or financial counseling to handyman services and transportation—please contact us by filling out the questionnaire below. All responses will be kept confidential.

Have a need?

What needs do you have that fellow believers might be able to help with? Perhaps you find yourself needing some help with your marriage, relationship issues, financial matters, depression and anxiety, or some other issue. We can also help with more practical needs - such as a handyman, mentoring, transportation, etc. Respond to this questionnaire and someone will follow up with you!
