Pajama Sunday Service Project

Join us for a fun service project on Sunday, November 8th, which is Pajama Sunday! We invite the children and youth of Redeemer to come to church in their pajamas. We will also be collecting pajamas on that Sunday for Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO), who will donate items to local DFCS. Bring a set of new (unworn and unwashed) pajamas in a plastic Ziploc bag labeled with the size. While every style, size, and pattern of pajamas is appreciated, there is a greater need for older children and students in middle school and high school.

On Orphan Sunday, November 8th, Christians around the globe celebrate the love of the God who “defends the cause of the fatherless” and calls us to do the same. Ultimately, Orphan Sunday makes God’s true character and the Gospel itself visible as God’s people explore and respond to His heart for the orphan in adoption, foster care, and global orphan ministry. On Orphan Sunday, the Church is reminded of this truth and invited to act upon it, through prayer and acts of service. A representative from CAFO will be available that morning to share information and materials about their mission.
