Redeemer Student Ministry

Middle and high school can be a confusing and crazy time, and yet filled with incredible joy and growth. Redeemer desires to step into those great years to walk alongside students helping them know they are not alone by providing worship gatherings, gospel-centered teaching, guidance, and friendships.

Redeemer Youth: Sunday evenings (main weekly gathering)
We believe that the gospel enables us to enjoy life in a way that nothing else can offer. Redeemer Youth serves as a weekly reminder of that truth. Join us every Sunday night for a time of food, worship, teaching, and discipleship groups.

Our Vision:

We exist to help students awaken and journey in their lives with Jesus as they grow in their understanding that they are beautifully created, broken more than they originally thought, and loved by God more than they ever dared to dream.

Our Values:

Value 1: Gospel Centered
The message of Jesus–the Gospel–is not the ABC’s of Christianity (the beginning), but the A to Z (the totality). We see the great need for students to learn of their identity in Christ, and thus to learn to abide in Christ, as they age and prepare to leave home.

Value 2: Relationally Driven
We see our leadership and gatherings as tools to inspire relationships that can help a student as we navigate together the middle and high school years. Students need trusting relationships with adult leaders where they feel free to have honest conversations about the struggles, doubts, and pressures they are facing.

Value 3: Worship and Devotion Based
We desire to help students learn how the promises of God’s perfect love toward them creates practices in their lives of devotion and the blessing of walking in the spirit and worshipping God.

Our Hope:

To create and community and environment where students learn to encourage and love other students, and adult volunteers are equipped to walk alongside students as students discover their identity in Jesus and worship God.

This is done by weekly worship, biblical teaching, small groups, investment by adult volunteers, student leadership, periodic fellowship gatherings, semi-annual retreats, and partnering with parents to best equip them to love and raise their children through the teen years.
