At Redeemer, we create opportunities for community through Community Dinner Groups and Small Groups. We believe this is important because we are made in the image of a triune God and are, therefore, created out of community and for community. It is good for us to be known and know each other. Here is the difference between these two groups:
Community Dinner Groups
Community Dinner Groups are semester-long groups (adults only; no childcare provided) that meet monthly to share a meal and get to know each other. When you commit to this group, you are committing to four meals, and to share in the call of hospitality by hosting one of these four meals in your home. As the host, you organize who is bringing what food and communicate to the group as the dinner date comes near.
There are two rounds of sign-ups for Community Dinner Groups each year. The first round is in August for groups that meet September through December. The second round is in January for groups that meet February through May. Groups do not meet during the summertime.
However, if you are interested in being in a CDG and you missed a sign-up period, please let us know.
Small groups create a place for people to be cared for and care for others, while providing the opportunity to discuss meaningful truths and how they intersect our lives. These groups focus on studying the scriptures, discussion, and praying for each other. The aim is for us to let grace and truth root deeply into our hearts and minds as we discuss it and listen to others talk about it.
We have men’s, women’s and couples small groups that run during the school year (September through May) and break during the holidays. Small groups meet either weekly or bi-weekly (depending on your facilitator). We will have sign-ups for small groups each August. If you have any questions about small groups or missed the sign-up period, please let us know.
God’s Big Picture (Grace in Practice)
Join us to learn more about how every passage weaves together the Bible’s one big story in Vaughn Robert’s book, God’s Big Picture. We’ll meet from 5:30 – 6:30PM on select Sunday evenings in the Sanctuary. Meeting Dates: 3/1, 3/15, 3/29, and 4/19.
Each semester, we will hold a short term group for several consecutive weeks. These groups will offer an option to those that missed the signup period for our Small Groups, but want to get plugged in mid-semester. There will be a different topic covered with each group. Check out our events page for more information.
Adult Sunday School
Our class meets every Sunday morning from 9:30 am to 10:15 am in the Small Group Area (near the front entrance and lobby area). The group covers selected books of the Bible such as the four gospels, Acts and Hebrews, and selected epistles from Paul. You are free to come and go any Sunday you are able to attend. Due to Family Worship meeting at the same time, childcare will not be provided.
Men’s and Women’s Gatherings
Men’s and Women’s gatherings are held quarterly at Redeemer. These gatherings are designed to explore a specific topic that impacts our lives in the context of building relationships new and ongoing friends. Past topics have included “Gospel and Money” and “Gospel and Depression/Anxiety.”

Empty Nesters’ Fellowship
“Empty Nesters” is a group of empty nesters that get together several times a year to fellowship and share life. We’re the ones who come to church without diaper bags and who buy milk by the 1/2 gallon. Let us know who you are, and we’ll put you on our email list for our next gathering.
